Admin Center

The Admin Center at manage.freesbe.net is where owners and admins manage a workspace on a full screen, in the browser. It has everything in Workspace settings, and more room for bigger jobs like the phone system, logs and reports.

Each big part of Freesbe has its own area. The strip of icons on the left lists them: Home, Workspace, People, Reports, Phone, Meetings, Security, Integrations and Billing. Pick one and its pages are tabs across the top: People, for example, has Members, Joining, Profile fields and Punch clock. A page with parts has a second, smaller row of tabs under them: Phone → Call routing has Call flows, Phone menus, Call queues and Business hours.

The Admin Center’s Home for Northwind Traders: the strip of areas on the left, member counts, spend, and every area with its pages

Home shows who’s in the workspace and what it spent: today, in the last 30 days, and usage past your plan this month, which is charged next month. Every area is listed with its pages, so anything is two clicks away. Phone opens on an overview: how many numbers you have, today’s calls and missed calls, what’s left to set up, and the latest calls, each linking to the page that changes it.

Click a spend figure on Home to open Billing → Overview, the breakdown of what you pay: the plan and each add-on with how many and what each costs a month (or a year), the total and the next charge date, this month’s metered usage against what your plan includes, and the last 30 days of invoices.

The Admin Center always has every setting the app has. The app keeps the quick switches that change what everyone sees day to day, like who can edit messages, AI, recordings, the waiting room, invites and member roles: change those in either place, and a change in one shows in the other.

Setup, security, logs, the phone system and billing are managed in the Admin Center. Workspace settings in the app lists only what’s set there: General (Workspace, Data region, Messages, AI & workflows), People (Members and Invites) and Calls & meetings, with an Admin Center link at the bottom of the list. Here’s where everything is in the Admin Center:

Area Pages (tabs in brackets)
Workspace General (Workspace, Messages, AI & workflows), Data region, Custom domain. Closing the workspace is at the bottom of General → Workspace
People Members, Joining (Invites, Email domains), Profile fields, Punch clock (clocking in and out stays in the app)
Reports Hours, Call center
Phone Overview, Numbers (Numbers, Messaging), Extensions, Call routing (Call flows, Phone menus, Call queues, Business hours), Music on hold, Call log, Call recording, Phone system. Your own phone, under Preferences → Calls & audio → Phone, stays in the app
Meetings Recordings, Waiting room
Security Sign-in & access (Sign-in, Sign in with Freesbe, Remote control, File types), Logs (Audit log, Security activity, Message log), Export data
Integrations Integrations, Apps, AI agents, Webhooks, Import from Slack
Billing Plan (Plan, Plans, Add-ons), Invoices, Usage. Upgrade buttons in the app still show your plan and open the Admin Center’s plans

Searching Workspace settings in the app still finds these settings, and links in the app to them (like Integrations) open a page with Open in the Admin Center, which takes you there.

Bigger jobs are in the Admin Center only, like everyone’s extensions under Phone → Extensions, the music on hold under Phone → Music on hold, phone menus under Phone → Call routing → Phone menus and call queues, with their break reasons and Call center supervisors, under Phone → Call routing → Call queues, and the call log of every call, under Phone → Call log, and call recording under Phone → Call recording, and call flows, which draw what happens when each number is called, under Phone → Call routing → Call flows, and bringing your numbers from another provider under Phone → Numbers. People → Members is a table here, with filters, changes to many people at once and a CSV export (see Manage members), and each name opens a page to edit everything about that person, and the Audit log filters and exports too, next to the Message log of every message to and from customers, under Security → Logs.

  • In the app, open the workspace menu (the workspace name at the top of the sidebar) and choose Admin Center. It opens in your browser, on the workspace you were in.
  • Or go to manage.freesbe.net and choose Sign in.

The Admin Center’s sign-in screen with a Sign in button

You sign in with your Freesbe account, the same way as in the app. The Admin Center always asks for a second step, like a code we email you or your authenticator app, even when your workspace doesn’t require multi-factor authentication. A sign-in lasts 12 hours; after that, choose Sign in again.

Owners and admins can use the whole Admin Center. On Corporate and Enterprise, a member with admin roles (Billing, Phone, People or Helpdesk) signs in the same way and sees only their pages. Other members and guests who sign in are told to ask an admin.

  • Search: the magnifying glass at the top of the strip finds any page, tab or setting in every area, like “queue” or “SSO”. Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac) opens it from anywhere; pick a result with the arrow keys and Enter.
  • Switch workspace: click your workspace’s icon at the top of the strip and pick another one, if you’re an admin of more than one. You stay on the same page.
  • Every page and tab has its own address, like manage.freesbe.net/<workspace ID>/phoneQueues, so you can bookmark it or send it to another admin. Going back to a page opens the tab you had open last.
  • With admin roles, the strip shows only your areas: a Phone admin sees Reports (just Call center) and Phone.
  • Exit at the bottom of the strip goes back to the app. Sign out, in the menu behind your workspace’s icon, ends the Admin Center’s sign-in only, not the app’s.
  • On a phone, the strip runs across the top of the screen and the tabs scroll sideways.

The Admin Center in dark mode

  • The Admin Center has its own sign-in, separate from the app’s, so someone using your computer with Freesbe open still has to sign in, with a second step, to change workspace settings.
  • Every Admin Center sign-in and sign-out shows in Security activity, for you and for the other admins. See Security activity.
  • Apps, AI agents and API tokens can’t use it.
  • Every change made there is in the workspace’s Audit log, the same as changes made in the app.
  • admin.freesbe.net is not the Admin Center: it’s for Freesbe’s own staff. Your workspace’s Admin Center is always at manage.freesbe.net.
